Follow these simple steps to complete your application:

Step 2. Select the “TFG Money Account” from the drop-down menu

Step 3. Select the online option, then choose Markham under Store.

Step 4. Fill the application form with your personal and employment details.

Step 5. Agree to all the terms and conditions.

Step 6. Confirm all the information, then click Submit.

Method 2: Through WhatsApp

Step 1. Text “Apply” to this number: 0860 834 834.

Step 2. Accept the terms and conditions

Step 3. Select the Markham brand from the men’s section

Step 4. Accept the Terms and conditions after reading them

How does a Markham Account Credit work?

Markham Account is a revolving credit facility, meaning you pay off your balance at the end of the month. You can use it to purchase products at any TFG store or shop online via the Bash App. The credit limit is based on your credit profile and affordability.

It has a standard 12-month repayment plan with interest by default. However, you can switch to a 6-month interest-free plan. You can also use it to purchase some additional products such as insurance, airtime, and magazines.

You can use your Markham Card at all TFG stores, which have 40+ brands across multiple categories; some popular ones include:

You can check your Markham account balance in multiple ways. The easiest way is to download the Bash app and add your TFG Markham account. If you don’t have the Bash App, you can visit any physical branch with your ID and card or try these methods:

Via the Bash Website;

1. Visit the Bash website and log in with your account.
2. Click on the wallet section to check your balance.
3. You can also download statements for a specific month to check your balance.

Via WhatsApp:

Use the same phone number you used to apply.

1. Add the TFG WhatsApp number 0860 834 834 and text them “Statements”.
2. Then enter your 13-digit ID to verify your identity.
3. Select the “Balance” option to see your pending amount.

Paying for the Markham Account balance:

You can also pay your Markham Account balance in multiple ways. You can visit a physical branch, use WhatsApp, set up a debit order, or pay through internet banking via the Bash App.

Tip: The TFG Money account’s automatic system is slow, so don’t abuse it; only make necessary purchases. Download the Bash App to check your card balance and access other services.

If you want to pay through EFT, set TFG as the beneficiary because Markham is part of the TFG group. Use your 19-digit TFG Money Account or card number in the beneficiary reference.

What to do if your application gets declined?

Applications are usually rejected because of a poor credit history or a failed affordability assessment. In this case, you should focus on improving your credit history by making timely payments.

Don’t apply again, as the TFG Money account has a 3-month cooling-off period, so you cannot apply immediately. During this time period, focus on alternative options such as:

Markham Lay-by: It’s only available in the physical store, but it lets you pay for an item in 3 monthly installments. You will need to make a 15% deposit, and the store will reserve the selected item, which you can pick up after paying the balance. It can be useful if you found a really good product but don’t have money to buy it outright.

Pay Just Now: A buy now, pay later service you can use at physical Markham stores or online in the Bash App.
