It was established in as a result of the requests from Magpshi in 1 July 1988, and was officially opened by the Lebowa Government\u2019s Chief Minister, Mr. Ramodike. Polokwane Mankweg Hospital also achieved a milestone by successfully restoring the sight of 197 cataract patients during the Nelson Mandela Eye Care Month, from July 19 to August 10, in an effort to reduce the province\u2019s cataract surgery backlog. This proves that they give importance to accessible and quality healthcare for all citizens.<\/p>\n
